Music teachers wanted!

We are looking for enthusiastic music teachers who would like to join our project and enrich our music school DoReMi with passion and expertise.

Music education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial means, age or origin. Our goal is to inspire a love of music, encourage creative expression and unleash the musical potential of our students. The music lessons take place in pairs between a German-speaking and non-German-speaking person, creating space for integration, learning from each other and friendship. Classes are designed to support students’ needs and progress, and to provide a deeper understanding of music and music theory.

Requirements:

• Completed musical education or a comparable degree in music education.
• Experience in teaching musical instruments and/or singing and a sound knowledge of music theory.
• Enthusiasm for music and the ability to transfer that enthusiasm to others.
• Empathy, patience and the ability to respond to students’ needs and pace of learning.
• Team spirit and the willingness to actively participate in our musical community.
• Language skills in German.
